PHASE 2 — QUOTATION & BRIEF

  • PDF with outline pricing sent following the call
  • Detailed quote issued within a few days of enquiry
  • Quote approved — deposit invoice raised to secure the project

NB. Projects are not formally started until the deposit is received.

Full design information received from client and/or design team:

  • Phase 1 and Phase 2 GIS shapefiles / habitat plans
  • GIS layers in standard formats
  • Defra Statutory Biodiversity Metric spreadsheet
  • DWG CAD files
  • Habitat Management Plan (HMP) if available
  • Species lists if required
  • Reference photography of site and proposed habitats

NB. The more detailed the ecological data, the more specific and credible the resulting visualisation.

A kickoff meeting with client or wider project team will be arranged if needed.

PHASE 4 — 3D BUILD

  • Terrain modelling — the surrounding context environment is built in 3D
  • Proposed habitat built in 3D based on design information received

NB: Terrain generation happens on every project, even when not visible in the final output. It's the foundation everything else sits on, and is reflected in the project cost.

At this stage, the workflow branches slightly depending on your output type then rejoins at Phase 5.

Can be fully CGI — no site photography required, giving full flexibility on camera placement

Camera positions planned across the site (single location or linked tour)

Habitat and species information gathered from client for overlays and popups

Interactive hotspots and linked locations agreed before build

Client provides text and content for each overlay panel

NB: We typically allow for two rounds of feedback. Additional rounds may affect timeline and cost.

PHASE 6 — DELIVERY

  • Final files prepared to agreed specifications
  • Full resolution outputs delivered
  • Any additional formats or sizes provided if required
